Our co-founders, Dream Peak Safaris is led by co-founders Stella Silayo, Mheluka Kubiha, and Africa Silayo—each born and raised in Arusha and deeply rooted in Tanzania’s vibrant landscapes and culture.
Stella is the cornerstone of our operations. She oversees guide training, conducts lodge inspections, and ensures every guest’s experience is seamless and unforgettable. Mheluka brings equal precision and care to logistics, managing everything from vehicle readiness to intricate itinerary coordination—all with the warm hospitality that defines our journeys.
Africa Silayo, whose name reflects both personal heritage and company spirit, grew up between Arusha and Kilimanjaro, immersed in the very terrain that inspires our adventures. He began his tourism journey as a mountain porter on Kilimanjaro, gaining firsthand insight into the dedication and resilience required to summit its peaks.
Africa pursued his higher education in the United States and Australia, gaining international experience and a deep global understanding. Today, he is based in Brisbane, Australia. However, he frequently returns home to Tanzania to personally lead special tours and reconnect with his team and family.
Alongside Africa, his wife Yvette Phillips plays a key role in shaping exceptional travel experiences. Having visited Tanzania more than 10 times and explored most of the country, Yvette has developed a deep appreciation for its wildlife, landscapes, and cultural richness. Together, Africa and Yvette tailor each journey to ensure every traveller’s itinerary is customised to their interests and expectations.
