Itinerary - day by day


Day 1: Arusha

As soon as you step out of Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be greeted by your smiling Dream Peak Safaris driver holding a sign with your name. On the way to your lodge, enjoy glimpses of Tanzania’s landscapes—and if skies are clear, even Mt. Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome, a refreshing local drink, and a quick briefing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Drive 3–4 hours from Arusha with a scenic route and lunch en route. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

Framed by the towering cliffs of the Great Rift Escarpment, Lake Manyara is teeming with wildlife. Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and—if you’re lucky—tree-climbing lions. This park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 400 species recorded.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, take a 30–60 minute drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day game drive.

Recognised as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on Earth, set against a breathtaking backdrop. Here, you can encounter lions, endangered black rhinos, buffalo, hyenas, and an incredible variety of bird species within this natural amphitheater. Along the crater’s rim, you may also spot the local Maasai tending their cattle, preserving traditions that have existed for centuries.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha or Moshi

Early morning transfer (30–60 minutes) to Tarangire National Park for a game drive.

Tarangire is known for its striking baobab trees, seasonal migrations, and the highest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania. You may also see lions, wildebeests, ostriches, and rare species such as oryx and the long-necked gerenuk. Return to Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro Airport in the afternoon.
